Laser For Acne & Scars
Avoiding complex health issues such as allergy need to be identified during the early stages in order to experience the optimum results. Allergens and pollens cause major problems due to which proper health benefits are not realized.
Acne is a common skin issue, especially during teenage years, triggered by hormonal changes and other factors. It often leaves behind visible scars, such as dark spots, red patches, and blemishes.
Laser acne scar removal has emerged as an effective treatment to address these scars. In this procedure, the laser rays target the skin's upper layers, promoting the growth of new skin, which helps to either eliminate or significantly fade the scars.
Different types of laser rays are used to treat various kinds of acne scars. Carbon dioxide (CO2) lasers are commonly used and are suitable for most skin types. Laser acne scar removal is particularly effective on scars that are not too deep. Typically, about 80% of such scars can be eliminated after 4-6 treatment sessions.
However, it's important to remember that laser acne scar treatment is not an immediate fix. It can take up to two weeks for the redness caused by the laser to subside, and some individuals may experience temporary changes in skin color. Full, optimal results can take up to 18 months to appear.
The good news is that laser treatment for acne scars is generally safe and does not leave severe side effects on the skin in most cases. There have been no reported instances of infections caused by the procedure. Even deep scars can be treated effectively, either during or after the laser treatment. While extremely rare, some patients may experience temporary skin discoloration, but this usually resolves itself over time.
Laser acne scar treatment is both effective and safe, with minimal risks. In the unlikely event that the treatment does not yield the desired results, there are no lasting adverse effects on the skin.

Acne can be treated by laser combined with chemical peeling. Light therapy like IPL can effectively treat acne. Fractional Co2 laser reduces the pore size & scars. There can be redness, swelling and dry skin that can be experienced after the laser. It fades off in 5 days. But, it is advised to take proper care of the treated area.
